Monkey Tail Cactus is a pendant cactus covered in a thick coat of soft, hair-like spines. Its hairy appearance has earned it the common moniker "Monkey's Tail Cactus". It is native to Bolivia, where it grows epilithically on the sides of cliffs with plenty of sun exposure and high humidity. It produces bright coral-pink flowers with a tubular base and a burst of petals at the opening.
